The Laser is Nd/YAG Light and has a 3-7 mm head light. IPL EcoLite is Intensive Pulse Light and has a 40X10 mm head Light; therefore IPL can treat a larger area faster. The light targets the hair follicle, disabling its activity and delivering long-term results. First the skin is clean with an appropriate solution. The area is then shaved to avoid the laser energy being absorbed by the hair shaft, as the light needs to target the hair follicle into the skin.

 

Is it safe? , Laser / IPL hair removal has been in use for several years without long-term adverse effects. Your skin may respond to the treatment & hair follicle removal, it will settle down.

 

Can the laser / IPL effect on my hair? It can produce effect on any type of hair and any hair colour except grey or white.

The blacker the hair and the whiter the skin is  the better for the treatment.

 

How long does the treatment take? The laser / IPL treatment can last from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the area size, hair type and density. Laser takes longer than IPL.

 

Is it painful? Most individuals feel nothing more than a slight warmth or tingling sensation.

 

How many treatments would I require for substantial results?

Hair grows in cycles, and its growth is influenced by many factors, such as weight, age, metabolism, medication, and hormonal activity. Considering these factors, it is difficult to predict how many treatments each individual will require to achieve the best long-term result. After each treatment the hair quantity and thickness will be reduced and eventually the hair will be removed. The laser or IPL hair removal may not be permanent for some clients.

 

Most people (approximately 85%) will require 3 – 8 treatments (2-6 week interval). A minority of people (15%) may require more than 8 treatments. These clients, after 8 full payment treatments can ask 3 free treatments for the same area, for the rest of one-year treatment starting from the date of their first session. (for example If you start your treatment today and pay 8 sessions for 8 treatments within 6 month time, the rest of the year which is 6 month, you can ask 3 free treatments for the same area.
